Due to the continuously increasing demand and supply chain problems, there is a severe shortage of tennis balls in the world. Nevertheless, the organisers of the Tallinn Open WTA 250 tournament found a solution to the problem. The tournament will be played with HEAD tennis balls. In partnership with Sportland and the tournament licensee Octagon, the organisers decided to team up with HEAD, the only tennis brand in the world to have its own tennis ball factory which produces over 115 million balls per year. HEAD will provide the Tallinn Open tournament with 5,000 of them.
