Le Coq continues to be one of the most modern beverage industries in the Baltic States.

WHY DOES A. Le Coq SUPPORT TENNIS?

We became a partner of the Estonian Tennis Association because we appreciate and value the image of tennis and see compatibility between the company’s values and the values of AURA, one of the most loved water brands in Estonia. Tennis is not a sprint, but a strategic endurance sport where all mental and physical strength is used by the athlete. In most cases, athletes with the best balance of mental and physical strength often produce the best results. We see a mutual synergy of ideas precisely in terms of the values of commitment to activity and giving the maximum contribution. A. Le Coq’s vision is to be a leading beverage manufacturer in Estonia and to offer support to its partner with the best Estonian beverage brands and product concepts, which in addition to good thirst quenching are also supporters of sport. Today, we have been cooperating in two directions for a year and a half. The first is youth sports and we have developed activities between youth tennis and the Aura water brand. As another direction, we have been more actively involved in the direction of senior tennis with the A. Le Coq brand.

SUSTAINABILITY

The company is constantly contributing to the development of sustainable business operations, focusing on reducing Co2, reducing the use of non-renewable resources, increasing the recycling of materials, contributing to a cleaner nature and taking greater responsibility for people’s health and well-being through its products and operations.

Porsche is a world famous car manufacturer whose range includes luxury sports cars, SUVs and passenger cars. However, Porsche is not merely a car company, it is a lifestyle in itself which can be characterised by four key words:

  • Passion. We approach our work with enthusiasm and dedication. Every day, we aspire to find modern ways and means to produce cars and offer the best solutions to our customers.
  • Trailblazers. At first, no one believed that a small car workshop could evolve into the best and most respected sports car manufacturer of all time. We continue to honour the entrepreneurial spirit and courage to leap into the unknown that helps find new solutions in the automotive world.
  • Sportsmanship. Sportsmanship is our way of thinking. We are empowered by challenges and adapt quickly whilst staying fair and respectful. We set ourselves high standards by actively seeking competition. Despite our success and history, we always remain adaptable.
  • Community. Porsche is a family where everyone is treated with respect. Our team’s work is characterised by openness, diversity and consideration towards our colleagues, clients and partners.

WHY DOES PORSCHE SUPPORT TENNIS?

Porsche has supported tennis for decades, therefore, extending the support to the Tallinn Open WTA 250 as the main transport partner was the obvious step towards strengthening the bond between tennis and motor sports in Estonia. Athleticism is in Porsche’s DNA because the same as on the circuit, in tennis you need to be quick, accurate and anticipate your opponents’ next moves and train to be the best.

For the first time, Porsche is a partner of the Tallinn Open and is supporting the organisers with a shuttle service consisting of Porsche vehicles. Porsche has been involved in women’s tennis now for over 40 years. The Stuttgart-based sports car manufacturer started its engagement in 1978 as the title sponsor of the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix and then took on the role as tournament organisers in 2002. Played in Stuttgart’s Porsche Arena, the long-standing event stands out every year with a main draw field of a Grand Slam standard. This year, the world No. 1 Iga Swiatek from Poland won the title after beating Aryna Sabalenka in the final. The tournament that has already been voted ten times since 2006 by the players as their favourite in its category stands for tradition and innovation, just like the Porsche marque.

Porsche is one of oldest sponsors in international women’s tennis. Other cornerstones of its wide-ranging involvement are the Premium cooperation with the Deutsche Tennis Bund (DTB – the German Tennis Association), the global partnership with the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) and the support given to various worldwide WTA tournaments. In addition to the event in Tallinn, Porsche is this year also the official automotive partner of the WTA tournaments in Lyon (France), Bad Homburg (Germany), Bastad (Sweden), Cincinnati (USA), Portoroz (Slovenia) and Cluj-Napoca (Romania).

As Brand Ambassadors, Angelique Kerber and Emma Raducanu give Porsche a face in tennis. Porsche also cooperates with the top players Maria Sakkari and Anett Kontaveit. The 27-year-old local hero will be giving her all on home soil to win the title.
