Starting today, tickets for the WTA 250 Tallinn Open can be purchased.

Ticket sales for the high-level WTA 250 Tallinn Open tennis tournament at the end of September will begin on Tuesday, June 28. Estonian top players Anett Kontaveit and Kaia Kanepi have agreed to participate in the tournament. Tickets can be purchased from the Piletitasku.

“The WTA tournament taking place in Tallinn for the first time will bring home the world’s best female tennis players,” said Allar Hint, general secretary of the Estonian Tennis Association, who is also the director of the Tallinn Open tournament. “The Tennis Association has been working for a long time to bring the WTA tournament to Estonia in order to develop top level tennis.We invite all tennis fans to watch high-level games and join our Anett and Kaia.”.

Tickets for the Tallinn Open tournament can be purchased for the qualification games that will take place on 24.09 – 25.09.2022. The main draw games will be held on 26.09 – 2.10.2022:

  • 26.09-29.09.2022 you can buy tickets for the morning sessions;
  • The quarter finals and semifinals are held from 30.09 – 1.10 where you can buy tickets for both morning and evening sessions;
  • 2.10 The final of the tournament will take place.

In the Piletitasku ticket purchasing website one can buy tournament passes, single tickets and VIP tickets which provide access to the tournament lounge in addition to watching the tournament itself.

“We want to fill the 2,500-seat grandstands every day to offer spectators the opportunity to experience the top level of women’s tennis on their home courts and to support the players with professional active participation,” said Allar Hint.

The WTA 250 Tallinn Open international tournament will be held on 26.09-2.10 at Forus Tennis Centre in Tondi. A week before that (starting on September 19), the WTA 500 tournament will be held in Tokyo and the WTA 250 tournament will be held in Seoul. Immediately after the Tallinn Open, the WTA 500 competition starts in Ostrava, Czech Republic.

The women’s professional tennis organisation WTA annually organises a total of 55 tournaments in the world, which are divided into WTA 250, WTA 500 and WTA 1000 according to the amount of prize money.
